Hello!! A helluva week for ringing, which started on Tuesday evening with my final walk into Stratford-upon-Avon... it was lovely yet bittersweet.

I was up early on Wednesday morning for the perfect mix of my 2 obsessions: boating down the river and ringing church bells. 9 of the local ringers joined me at 09:00 and off we went in the pouring rain towards Welford, an 8-bell tower:

We rang there at 11:30, and I called us into some reverse triplets, i.e. the bells in order 14327658 which sounded nice. Followed by lunch!

Then off to Bidford, another 8-bell ring. More call changes, I'm not even sure we rang a method all day.

And this morning for Sunday service I rang in Evesham for the first time, which was lovely — a friendly group, great bells, and a beautiful tower.

Until next Sunday!
