Hello! It's been a good ringing week, although it started with a funeral on Tuesday in Stratford-upon-Avon. The ringing felt lovely though, and I returned that evening for Tuesday practice.
On Wednesday I was in London for what should have been a quarter peal of Bob Triples at Bishopsgate, but a) I was a bit late, b) someone else was more late, and c) someone else didn't show up at all. So we rang for service, and I went to Waterloo that afternoon as well.
And on Thursday at St Giles in Camberwell a new vicar was appointed, so we rang for that, and I'm starting to get the hang of Grandsire Doubles... which is helpful, because I'm doing a quarter peal of that tomorrow.
It was lovely to cycle into the city again on Sunday for service ringing, and this afternoon — for the The Woolmen Sheep Drive & Livery Fair(!!!) — we rang a quarter peal of Bob Triples, my first inside. Ringing for the sheep!!
