Hello, and happy Sunday!
It's been a lovely week for ringing — at Stratford on Tuesday which was a fun practice, and one of the ringers suggested I head along to Coventry Cathedral on Thursday. Which I did:
12 bells and it's a glorious tower; we rang a touch of Grandsire Triples, some call changes, and then I rang the tenor to a few methods. And that's my new heaviest bell, at 1,717kg! A little nerve-wracking, but a lovely evening.
Then on Friday I rang for a service in Stratford, and the same again this morning for their regular.
